The Heart of a Miracle

Several months back, I stumbled upon this blog. It is written by a wonderfully witty MckMama. She was pregnant with her fourth child. I started going back because we were both due around the same time. It was right after her son, MckMiracle, had been diagnosed with a heart condition that the doctors said he would not survive. She was 24 weeks pregnant. Instead of making the decision to continue to carry her child, she left it in God's hands. She started a prayer circle and THOUSANDS rallied around her and her unborn child. It was quite an amazing thing to witness. I followed her all the way through her updates, and miraculously, her son started to turn around. He started getting better and was born full term and healthy only two weeks after Stink Bait. It was a miracle.

Now they are faced will another obstacle. RSV is a term that every new mother dreads. For older children and adults, it is merely a virus that leads to cold like symptoms. For babies, specifically preemies and sick babies, it can be life threatening. It is very serious. MckMiracle has come down with RSV. At only 8 weeks old, he has been admitted to the ICU and his blood gases are not good. Please, jump over there and read their story, but also keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they try to get through this rough time. Her blog name is My Charming Kids and you can get to it through the sidebar or the link above.
